These terms govern your use of the 123 Cal app, operated by Bogdan Dzhelmach. By using the app you agree to them. The app is also licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
123 Cal estimates the calories and macronutrients of food from a photo or a text description, and tracks what you log against a daily target it calculates from the details you provide.
Nutrition figures produced by the app are approximations generated by an AI model from a photograph or description. They can be wrong, sometimes substantially. The app shows its assumptions and a likely range so you can judge for yourself, and every result can be edited before or after it is saved. Do not rely on these figures for medical, clinical or allergen-related decisions.
123 Cal is a general wellness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting a diet, particularly if you are pregnant, under 18, or have a medical condition or a history of disordered eating.
Use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not attempt to reverse engineer it, abuse or overload the scanning service, submit unlawful content, or use it in any way that breaks applicable law.
The app, its design and its content are owned by us and protected by copyright. Your diary entries and photos remain yours.
Food scanning depends on an internet connection and on third-party services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change over time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including your statutory consumer rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
